Simon and Dawn took over this charming pub in December 2006 and plan to keep it as it is meant to be. Nestled between Mortimer country and Black & White trails, in the heart of the village opposite the green and church, the Angel has been part of life here since the 16th century, with lots of character and history everywhere you look.

A traditional black and white country inn offering well-kept local and regional cask ales, good honest pub food (no a la carte here), a fabulous wine list at extremely realistic prices, front and rear gardens for when the sun shines and our award winning open fire. All this makes the Angel the ideal place for lunch, dinner or just a quick drink.
